Adult Brief Sizing Guide

Wearing the correct size adult brief is extremely important to prevent leaks. There is a common misconception that the larger the brief, the more it holds. Some people might order larger briefs for this reason and have issues with leaks. The reason? The do not fit properly! But finding the correct size for adult briefs can be frustrating and confusing. Like clothing brands, each brand of brief has a different size range for a particular size. Some brands or manufacturers can call a brief a medium, but another manufacturer calls it a small or large for the same size range. It is very easy to get confused or even worse, buy the incorrect size based on the manufacturer size only. When purchasing adult briefs or diapers it is extremely important to look at the size range.

You may not know you size but you can measure your waist and/or hip in the comfort of your home with a string and measuring tape or cloth measure tape. Be sure to measure around the belly button for waist measurement and across your widest part of your hip for hip measurements.
